COMPACT LIVING

LA LATINA

Renovation of a 32 m² apartment located in the historic district of La Latina, Madrid. The project explores how spatial quality can emerge from minimal dimensions through carefully designed multifunctional elements.

The intervention focuses on reducing visual fragmentation and enhancing spatial continuity. Custom-built furniture becomes the core architectural element, integrating storage, sleeping, and living functions within a compact and flexible system.

By minimizing partitions and working with light materials and simple geometries, the design creates a fluid and adaptable living environment, transforming a small apartment into a space defined by clarity, efficiency, and comfort.
