Tavola Arcaica explores the primordial relationship between humans, tools, and food.
Inspired by the first stone artifacts created by our ancestors, the project reflects on the origins of ergonomics and the earliest gestures of daily life, cutting, pounding, and gathering. These primitive tools can be considered the first forms of design.
Over time, these gestures evolved into codified utensils: knives, forks, and spoons, shaping how we interact with food. Tavola Arcaica questions these conventions, seeking to reconnect the body with the raw, instinctive rituals of nourishment.
